the world keeps getting a little crazier every year, and 2025 was no different. in fact, it’s been a pretty rough one for many people. feels like we’ve put too much focus on artificial intelligence, when what we really need is more emotional intelligence. luckily, there’s still that immaterial refuge called music — where we can feel free and tune out the chaos and all the noise for a while.
speaking of noise... here are the most exciting, fun, and interesting albums to listen to in 2025 (in alphabetical order). i’ve left out a few that, while great, felt a bit heavy to listen to or just plain boring. so, enjoy and let me know what you think!
